Anthony K. Hartness, OD, received his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and his optometric degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He completed his externship training at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Muskogee, OK. Dr. Hartness performed six months of residency training in medical optometry in conjunction with West Tennessee Eye and the Vitreo Retinal Foundation in 2006. He joined Grene Vision Group in 2007.

Dr. Hartness enjoys seeing patients of all ages for a variety of eyecare needs. He is a family practice optometrist whose interests include contact lens fitting, including multi-focal technology, ocular disease and pathology, and surgical co-management. When Dr. Hartness is out of the office, he enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, target shooting and dog training. Dr. Hartness provides care to his patients at the Grene Vision Group Andover and Augusta locations.
